The Civil Services Academy (CSA), Lahore is a premier training institution of Pakistan for pre-service training of Civil Servants selected by Federal Public Service Commission through a competitive mechanism commonly known as CSS examination and recruited by the Establishment Division, Government of Pakistan, Islamabad.
The Civil Services Academy, Lahore has two campuses: Walton campus for CTP and PAS Campus, Shahrah-e-Quaid-e-Azam for the Specialized Training of Probationary Officers of the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS). Both these Campuses are under the administrative control of a Director General who is assisted by Director (CTP), Director(PAS), Director (Admin & Finance), Director (Capacity Building) and other members of the faculty. The CTP Wing is responsible for designing and executing the Common Training Program and it has its own permanent faculty comprising of Chief Instructor (Economics & Public Finance), Chief Instructor (Public Sector Management) and Chief Instructor(CTP), who is responsible for subjects of Government Procedures & Management as well as Government & Society in Pakistan. In addition, there are five senior faculty members (BS-19 & 20) who act as the Incharges of each Academic House besides supervising various other components of training such as country study tour, military attachment, sports, CSA Clubs, Syndicate Research, Community Work etc.
